Floor Polishing questions
What is the difference between marble grinding and polishing?
Grinding removes a very thin layer of marble with diamond pads to eliminate scratches and unevenness; polishing restores surface shine without removing material. Scratched floors need grinding then polishing; floors that are only dull may need polishing alone.
Can porcelain be ground like marble?
Porcelain is not ground like marble because it can lose its surface layer, so we restore it with deep cleaning and polishing suited to its type.
How long does villa floor polishing take?
It depends on area and scratch depth — typically one day to several days for large villas. We confirm the timeline after assessment.
Does grinding create dust in the house?
We use wet grinding, which greatly reduces dust, protect walls and furniture, and clean up fully afterwards.
How often does marble need grinding?
It depends on foot traffic: commercial spaces may need it yearly, homes every few years, with periodic polishing in between.
